Our Box Office is available by phone Monday through Friday from 1:00-5:00PM and will be open 1 hour prior to every performance.

Yes, there is a $2 per ticket fee. To avoid this fee, consider purchasing a Flex Pass.  Additionally, no refunds are issued, though exchanges may occur — subject to availability and a $4 per ticket exchange fee.

To cause the least amount of disruption to the performance and to other patrons, if you arrive late you’ll be seated at the discretion of the house manager & director.  No seating is guaranteed after the start of the performance.

Yes, ATC currently offers discounts for students, educators, and members of the US Military.  These are available directly on the purchase page, with no coupon codes required.

PLEASE NOTE: All discounted pricing requires a valid ID to be presented at Will Call the day of the performances for each ticket collected. Anyone without a proper ID will be charged for a regular price ticket.

  • Student/Teacher pricing requires a school ID in good, legible condition. One ticket for each ID.
  • Military pricing requires a Military ID or a Veteran designation on license. Active duty military is allowed to bring immediate family at this price. One ticket available for each Veteran ID.
  • Queens Community pricing is for current faculty, staff, and students of Queens University of Charlotte. Requires a valid Queens ID.

We are also pleased to offer one Pay What You Can Preview performance of each show in our regular season.

Yes, ATC is fully accessible to persons with disabilities. If you require wheelchair-accessible seating, please contact the Box Office at 704-342-2251. For more information on accessibility, click here. We recommend those with mobility issues arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the performance to allow us ample time to assist you.

We are able to offer ASL Interpreted performances with a two weeks notice.

We are happy to offer personal Assistive Listening Devices for our performances. These are available by request at the box office prior to each performance.

Post-show talkbacks with the cast and director are held after every Thursday performance, but are not generally included in the offering for musicals or preview performances.  Check each show’s page for details.

ATC offers a wide range of programming, and the age-appropriateness varies. ATC’s general policy is that children under the age of 10 are not permitted in the theater.

Many of the ATC’s shows are appropriate for teens. If you have questions about the age-appropriateness of any show, please refer to the show page on this website or call the Box Office at 704-342-2251.

Cameras are not permitted in the theater.

The ringing of a cell phone can be quite distracting for both the audience and the performers. If you bring a cell phone into the theater, please turn it off before the performance begins. If you must use your cell phone at intermission, please remember to turn it off before re-entering the theater.

Most shows at ATC have at least one 15-minute intermission. On occasion, a show may be performed without intermission.  Intermission information is listed on each show’s page on this website.

At an ATC performance, you’ll see all sorts of dress—from elegant cocktail attire to business casual to jeans. The rule of thumb is, wear what makes you feel most comfortable.

A Message From Actor's Theatre of Charlotte

We can't thank you enough for your support and patience throughout Season 31 thus far. Unfortunately, due to the unpredictability of the COVID-19 crisis and it’s effect on public gatherings, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the remainder of the season. This includes all performances of ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS and HEAD OVER HEELS as well as our 6th annual nuVoices Festival and our free summer Shakespeare program, Midsummer Nights @Queens. Current Ticket at Flex Pass holders can fill out this form to let us know how they'd like to manage their Season 31 tickets.
