Iris DeWitt

Iris DeWitt is excited to return to the ATC stage! Originally from Arizona, Iris has been performing in the greater Charlotte area since 2016 after graduating from law school. Her most recent work could be seen in SISTER ACT (Deloris) at Matthews Playhouse, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (Audrey II) at Lee Street Theatre, LOVE LOSS AND WHAT I WORE (Stephanie) at Theatre Charlotte, and GHOSTS OF BOGOTÁ (Lola) here at ATC. Other favorite credits include THE COLOR PURPLE (Shug Avery) at Hickory Community Theatre, THE WEDDING SINGER (Holly) at CPCC, CHESS (Florence) at CPCC, BEEHIVE THE 60s MUSICAL (Wanda) at CPCC Summer Theatre, GODSPELL (self) at Matthews Playhouse, BYE BYE BIRDIE (Rose) at Abbey Players, and STEEL MAGNOLIAS (Truvy) at Davidson Community Players. She has also worked in television, including background work in several episodes of Fox’s limited primetime drama SHOTS FIRED. In her downtime, Iris enjoys cooking and volunteering with her lovely Alpha Kappa Alpha sisters. She is also a first degree black belt in taekwondo.
