Ben McCarthy

Ben McCarthy (pronouns: he/him), returning to the stage after a 13 year hiatus, is thrilled to be making his ATC debut. Ben was last seen onstage in Queen City Theatre Company’s SIDE SHOW (Buddy Foster). He holds an MFA in Arts Leadership from Seattle University and a BA in Stage Directing + Management from Greensboro College. A few past favorite productions include Greensboro College Theatre’s LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (director) and RABBIT HOLE (director), Barter Theatre’s FOREVER PLAID (asst. director), Davidson Community Players’ HELLO, DOLLY! (Ambrose Kemper), and Mooresville Childrens’ Theatre’s JOSEPH…DREAMCOAT (Joseph). During the day, Ben works as VP, Philanthropy at McColl Center, a nationally acclaimed artist residency and contemporary arts space in Uptown Charlotte.
